Avalon Bay Park and Marina
A launching ramp is located at 54th Street and Ocean Drive. There is a one-time daily charge of $10 for the use of the ramp. A Season Permit is available for $100 and is effective from the first weekend in May through September 30.
The hours of operation are: Friday through Monday – 7 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Thursday (holidays only) – 7 am to 5 pm
Stone Harbor Public Marina
A launching ramp is located at the 80th Street Marina. There is a one-time daily charge of $6 for the use of the ramp. A Season Permit is available for $75.
Avalon’s Free Kayak Park
The Borough of Avalon offers a free kayak park at 57th Street and Ocean Drive, although each kayak must be registered with the Borough. Nearly 200 spaces are available to store kayaks for free on a first-come, first-served basis. The racks can be used from April 1 through October 1 every season and then the kayaks must be removed.
